Im not sure if this goes here, but oh well...
anyway, im trying to play the FTB ultimate mod pack for minecraft 1.4.7 with the Dimensional Doors mod. But whenever i add the mod though the FTB launcher, it causes my game to crash and show the error report before the game even starts up. It works on other mod packs such as the Yogscraft mod pack but i dont know why it wont work with ultimate.
please help.

Could you show us the log?

Also, make sure you're putting it in the mods folder, and make sure you have the right version.

Probably an ID conflict, but would need to see the crash report to know for certain.

U can run FTB Ultimate (in my case) with this version of DimensionalDoors-1.4.7 v1.3.2.1 but there is collide with other mode call xycraft. Both mods have same ID with some items so U must OFF xycraft in FTB console manager.
When U run server just change name of xycraft mod in "Minecraft\mods" directory and client's must make upper solution.

nooooooooo, you change the config of xycraft.

To translate the advice into grammatically correct English:

You likely have an ID conflict. This is solved by editing the DimensionDoors.cfg file in your .../minecraft/config folder and changing the conflicting ID's to something else. Repeat until conflicts are resolved.

You can use NEI to get a list of ID's already in use so you know which ones you can use.

Depending on how Mystcraft and DimensionDoors assigns dimensions, you may end up with a far more serious world-corruption bug if you start adding both Mystcraft dimensions and DimDoors dimensions.
