FTB Revelations crashes while starting up

FTB Revelations crashes somewhere at the tail end of loading JEI. Gives me the error message GC overhead limit exceeded. does this mean I just flat out need more RAM or is there some other way to fix it?
Using the twitch launcher.
edit: fixed the error message after recreating the crash.
