Title FTB Legacy Launcher having issue downloading pack data

Details of the issue Whenever I start up the launcher, the progress bar stops around 90% of the way. The console logs a few fatal errors stating that there was a missing end tag for the hr tag (which is weird as I don't believe hr tags need an ending tag). Either way, I think this may be an issue with whatever the launcher is using to parse the HTML of the website where it gets the modpack data and/or news from. This error prevents the main launcher window from loading and stops me from accessing any of the packs. My roommate is having the same issue with the same launcher on his computer. To make sure it's not on our end I'm gonna check the firewall and some other things. Just wanted to let you all know in case this problem had already been solved. Thank you for any help you can give.
