FTB launcher will not open

  • Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

Details of the issue:
I have searched this forum, but have found no answers. I love FTB, and have played it on my old macbook pro often, but obviously it was slow. I now have a new Windows 10 computer, which has 8gb RAM and a decent graphics card etc, but it seems whatever I do, I am unable to open the FTB_Launcher.exe file. I have redownloaded it, I've re-installed java, I've tried everything I can think of. Does anyone know why this might be? I really really appreciate any help, thankyou all so much​
