FTB Infinity will not launch.

If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

Details of the issue:
After clicking launch the button greys out for a few seconds and then reappears without launching the game. So far I have tried the following fixes:

Uninstalling and reinstalling assets and the modpack itself.
Uninstalling and reinstalling the latest version of Java (Version 8 60)
Allocating 4GB RAM to the game.
Forcing and update.

Nothing has worked and i'd be really grateful if someone could help me out as I am looking to play this with my friends!
