Hi guys,
So I hosted my own FTB Infinity server on my PC for years, never had any problems even though I had a LOT of stuff going on (huge AE2 networks, auto-crafting, lots of liquids in tanks, machines auto-producing smelting, chunk loaders, etc.) and my computer could always make it work with an expected amount of lag. I just recently deleted my old world and started over, but now even though my server has nothing on it yet, it's pretty much brand new, I've noticed the creatures in the world have this weird rubber-banding lag. Like, if I hit a cow, instead of running around normally, it will sprint around for half a second, pause, then continue for another half a second, pause, and continue, etc. It's like the server can't run smoothly for more than half a second at a time. Anyone ever encountered this before? I have 16GB of RAM, Ryzen 5 1600 processor, etc. Shouldn't be a computer problem, and the same PC that hosts the server plays on it so it's not internet lag either. Thanks!
