FTB Infinity Evolved saves deleted

Details of the issue:
I went to play FTB Infinity and it asked to update, so i did. after the update was complete, all of my saves were no longer displayed when i click single player, and in my FTB folder they are gone as well, along with all of my automatic backups. I was wondering why my saves and backups were deleted, and if there is a way to recover them??​
