- A good detailed paragraph about the problem
Yesterday after we finished getting a big reactor set up and pumping power into vibrant capacitor banks, we were timed out from the server and could not reconnect again, only receiving the error "Timed Out" after approximately 15-30 seconds. I figured it must be a connection problem with the server but it is not, it has to be something about the world in particular because when I generate a new world on the exact same server all works fine and we are able to play as intended. However my friends and I have spent an insane amount of time on this world so to us this isn't an acceptable fix. I tried downloading the world into singleplayer, and I am able to at least open the world, however I cannot do anything in the world such as breaking blocks or opening chests. Another thing is that when we try to connect to the server with the "broken" world loaded, there is no log in the console of any errors connecting or when the server is being launched. (we try to connect to the server and the server console doesn't even move saying "failed to connect, timed out, etc.) When this map is loaded the server status also shows 100% cpu usage all the time even when there is no one on the server, and there is only 1 chunkloader in use, and it is in a chunk that should not be lagging.
Any help on savaging this world/server is greatly appreciated!
