FTB Horizon Daybreaker crashes on server join

Details of the issue:
Me and my buds started a Horizon Daybreaker server and everything has been running decently smoothly but every time i try to rejoin the server my game crashes. It started by me exploring an area far away from the spawn and the game froze and crashed to desktop. Since then i haven't been able to rejoin the server, it will show horizons daybreaker loading screen for about 10-15 seconds and then crash to desktop. I doubt it is performance related because i wasn't experiencing any frame rate/ performance issues prior to the crash. I cant load into the world even thought i'm hosting the server and my friends can join in.​
