So I've been playing on a friends server that he started up. I'm constantly getting disconnects every few minutes of game play. And 75% of the time when I try and connect I get an "End of Stream" error.

Whenever I get disconnected, I receive this error:

"Internal exception: java.net.SocketException: Connection reset by peer: socket write error"

I've reinstalled windows, java, ftb. Updated drivers, cycled router and modem. I'm at a loss. i'm the only one who gets this error.

If ANYONE has a solution I'd be forever in your debt.

End of stream can be a few things for example:
  • Packetloss due to funky internet connections
  • The server that can't keep up
  • Upload speed of the serverconnection is to low
Do other people who connect to the same server from outside of the servers network have the same problem?

no it only happens to me there are 38 other players on the server in which I all know personally and none of them have problems connecting its a Socket end error through java which would be router issues I do believe I'm not quiet sure yet.[DOUBLEPOST=1368640823][/DOUBLEPOST]
Thanks man. Hope we get some sort of fix.
from what I understand it is a router issue a port may need to be opened.
