Windows .exe FTB Crash!

Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine
Error: A fatal exception has occurred, the program will exit

This comes up whenever my friend tries to Launch the DW20 pack.
please help us!

I'm going to need some more information here. I think I know what the issue is, but can you tell me what his/her computer specs are? Also what version of Java, and what background processes are running, etc.
 
Uninstall your java and reinstall it
If using windows, install Java 7.
If using Mac, uninstall Java 7 and install Java 6 (you can find instructions for this if you go to the link in my signature)
