FTB 1.2.5 Pyramid Challenge: Brewing

How do you complete the brewing challenge in the 1.2.5 Pyramid map? As far as I can tell, brewing the potion of harming requires a fermented spider eye, which requires a brown mushroom. Are either of these available on the map? (If so, I seem to have lost mine.) Or is there an alternate way to brew potions of harming?

I figured it out by starting over on a new copy of the map. You do get one in the initial chest, but if you die, the chest in the respawn area with the 5-minute timer does NOT give you a new mushroom.

If all else fails, set up some auto-emc gen and wait for enough to make the alchemical tome.

Yup, I got the two spheres made, but I guess they have to be filled -- that was going so slowly that I decided to just cheat in the mushroom. (I've never actually made that book before.)

I also tried scrapboxes for a while, but I don't think they can drop mushrooms. I did get a pumpkin that way though, which was neat.
