I've recently come back to minecraft after a long break. I'm playing on Infinity 1.1.0 and just started using microblocks and i think i have an issue.

First of all, i noticed that the microblocks take MUCH longer to break than their original block, in the fact of 50x longer for sandstone brick slabs compared to sandstone bricks. I can't believe this is intentional because it makes them frustrating to use.

Then i noticed that breaking these blocks seems to use no durability on my pickaxe, which seems very much like a bug, Yet i cannot find a single reported instance from anyone else experiencing this issue.. almost like it's expected and intended...

Anyone know anything about this?

Just gave it a shot on my server with sandstone bricks and fancy chiselled bricks (smoothstone) and they both take quite a lot longer to break.
This appears to be only for tinker's construct chiselled materials though, as I was able to break microblocks made from chisel 2 at a normal speed.

As for why, I'm not sure. Perhaps submit it as a bug to the infinity bugs subforum.

There have always been differences in hardness of materials and their FMB equivalent in my experience. Some materials(like very soft or very hard) just make it much more obvious. Also a very fast pickaxe(Efficiency enchants etc) will gain huge speed bonuses on the full blocks but not the microblocks afaik.
