I'm a little unsure where to post this, so I thought it'd be safe to drop it here.

I returned to ftb after quite some time and am currently building a bio fuel farm. Before I just joined the bioreactor to the bio fuel generator with golden fluid pipes (BC pipes I think??)
Now when I try it, the pipes connect to the reactor and fill with bio fuel, but it does not connect up to the generator. Is there a simple thing I have over looked??

Cheers!

Biofuel generators from MFR? If that is the case, they do not accept the liquid, they accept seeds, carrots, potatoes, etc. And make all their power in the block.
You are probably thinking of the biomass engine, from the old days of FTB ultimate, and the like?

I think you are mixing a few things up.
The BioReactor will make Biofuel from carrots, potatoes, seeds, saplings etc:

The BioFuel Generator produces MJ/RF from the Biofuel:

Now why the BC pipes would not connect up correctly I am not sure, but think there was a post some time ago with similar problems. Think it was a problem of mods not being of correct up to date versions. But that is hard to speculate on when the OP doesn't even mention which modpack and MC version we are talking about.

Yep, that's my mistake.

Maybe the reactor is iSided (only certain sides will accept the fluid, maybe top or bottom, for example)
I think the pipes would still connect them, just not be able to insert the fluids into the correct "inventories".

As briefly mentioned I remember a post where someone had the same problem getting BC pipes to connect to what I think were the MFR steam turbines. Simple fix would be to use something other than BC pipes(Fluiducts, EnderIO conduits, ExU... thingies etc.).

BioReactors and BioFuel Generators are not iSided as of any of the Infinity packs (I don't think they were in Monster either, but my memory is suspect). As @rhn stated, there was a time when an API mismatch caused some funny business between MFR and BC. Update one or both to solve it. Alternatively, using different piping works.

When posting odd behavior, it is good practice to let people know what versions of the mods in question you are using (or at least a pack and version). This helps immensely when trying to diagnose issues.

Thankyou for all of the replies. I posted this at work, hence the brief description. I'll be sure to add more detail next time.

I'm using both the latest version of ftb infinity and the latest version of minecraft.
I will try and update the modpacks once I get home.
If it doesn't work, I'll just use other modpack's pipes, like suggested.

Thanks :)
