Any ideas? I'm in a void world with no landscape and my inventory is totally empty. All I did was create my first Descriptive Book, get ready with a Bookstand and a Linking Book back to the Overworld and a fresh book to link back to the new Age, and now I'm stuck in nowhere.
*Update* Seems it was only temporary. Sorry. I assumed I'd been hit by a bug.

That's what the world would look like starting a new game if it didn't give you a splash screen instead.

MystCraft ages, like the Overworld are blank when you first enter them so you get the same bizarre behaviour.

Nice to know thanks. I've now made about 7 or 8 random worlds and slapped down a bookstand with an Overworld book on the landing pad in each. All of them are unstable in some way, is that normal? I've "learned" a new attribute on each one, I think I'll keep going untill I make a new world with no new attributes, and then I'll try making a custom one.

Instability is added, whenever the mod has to "fix" your descriptive book, when certain symbols are used too often, or when certain symbols are added.
Fixing can include adding symbols with needed definitions (e.g. biome controller).
An empty descriptive book always needs to be fixed, since it doesn't contain any of the needed properties. => An empty descriptive book always leads to an unstable world.

Oh, I see. I watched Direwolf20 recently, and he went to his first age and got some sickness, and said "Hm, seems this age is unstable", so I assumed that it wasn't a guaranteed thing on blank age books. I think I'll do some more reading and post any further questions under a new thread. Thanks for the help.
