Just what the title says, I just need to lose some pressure because I am frustrated like hell.
I have been busy lately doing the FTB piramid insanity challenge on my own.
I was well on my way, just 3 of the 16 challenges left and guess what happened?
Power cut! The F%#$-ING dishwasher broke and bam entire house had no power.
If that was just it I wouldn't be writing this forum post, because the power cut broke my save file.
Of course I don't keep regular backups, so now I am back to a stage where I completed the first 4 challenges.

I was so damn close! I am totally frustrated now...
Perhaps anyone has a clue on maybe fixing the savegame? The server (I play locally on the SMP server version) gave these error messages: http://lappro.net/ftb/error.txt
If anyone wants to give a try at fixing the savegame, you would be my hero if you succeed. Though I realize it is probably just lost, I am just a little desperate. http://lappro.net/ftb/broken_world_power_cut.rar

Yep...

Live and learn. Write yourself a simple backup script and run it once a day either before or after your done playing.

No idea how to fix it out side of restoring a back up it sounds like the level.dat got hosed.

Edit: or possibly an issue with a wireless redstone save state. But it fix that would require removing the mod loading the map and then reinstalling the mod. And that most likely would brake parts of the map in other ways making it imposable to finish all the challenges.

It's not the level.dat, it's the files that store the chunks (note it says "[SEVERE] java.util.zip.ZipException: Not in GZIP format" 4 times?). Basically there's nothing you can do, because of how small the map is.
