Every FTB modpack downloads every time I try to launch it, and then it just stops. The launcher is there, the modpack is finished downloading, but it just freezes. I don't know what's wrong. I'm on a Mac, I have 8 GB of Ram, Running 10.8.4 , I don't know what's wrong.

Since you have MacOS you will want Java version 6. I suggest following this guide exactly to install FTB the recommended way and Java 6. After that please post your console log in debug mode as you try to launch the mod pack, or download it, to pastebin.com and link it here if you are still having problems. This guide will help with the log.
