Feed The Beast Launcher wont start at all

okay, so im kinda new to this whole java stuff so i dont really know how to find the java scripts, but when ever i try to start the FTB Launcher, it opens up in a window outline, but nothing loads inside of it, rather it just has a freeze frame of whatever is open when i launch it, i tried to set the affinity for FTBLauncher when it was open in my processes, but i get the message; "The operation could not be completed. Access denied", this is not an Admin privilege issue, as i am my PCs admin, and when attempting to edit a vanilla minecraft clients affinity i did not receive this message, on top of this, it is impossible for me to close the FTBLauncher without using Task Manager to cut the process.

I don't know what you did to have that happen, so you really need to go through the steps I provided.
