Bug Extra Utilities Pipes and Filter Issues

Hey all, So I have been trying to get Extra Pipes to work for a day now but no luck. I am using a Quarry and am wanting to trash the stuff I dont want and keep the stuff I do in a chest. Here is my setup

I am using a item filter on each filter section for the items I want and then for the items I dont want its kept clear to go to the trash. But for some reason I am still getting crap I dont want in my chest and some stuff goes to trash that I do want. As if the filters dont work. Anyone else have this issue?

I am using 1.7.10 FTB Infinity

are you sure the filters are matching the colors of the pipe ? form the photo it seems that the filter is placed in the blue slot but the pipe that is connected to the chest from the bottom is white

also you can put a filter inside the trash can to blacklist or white-list which item can be voided

PS : you can use a wooden stick or micro blocks to break the pipe connection
