Essential Craft 3 and nonstop explosions/dropping inventory?

Hello, I'm new here, and also new to minecraft in general- so I'm sorry if I'm posting in the wrong place. The only mods I use on my current server (horizons daybreaker) are bloodmagic (currently altar tier 3) and essentialcraft3. The other person on the server is only using mekanizm only.
I believe the issue is EC3 related.

I'm getting hit w/ random lightning bolts- which is fine, I'm pretty sure its a corruption effect and I have armor now to mitigate it. My problem is this. randomly, about every 10 minutes or so my character throws her entire inventory and equipped item out around her (which is painful when youre flying, as you fall to the ground and die) I did notice that the only non-thrown items are two EC3 rings that I have equipped (it could be that baubles are not thrown and I only have the two)

on top of this headache I also randomly explode- which causes terrain damage and insta-kills me. sometimes this is mitigated by armor but most times it is not. I have watched a ton of videos going over EC from start to Hoanna (which I am not at yet) and I havent seen anyone encounter this. I started an offline game and it is not happening :/

I am the only person who this is happening to- and it happens also when I have nothing equipped.

has anyone ran into this? Does anyone know what it could be? its not enderzoo, its not thaumcraft, and its not caused by any bees either. And I'm really sorry if I'm being a derp- I've been playing for a couple of weeks and I ...thought I knew what I was doing :l

I've only just started messing around with EC3 on my server, but the negative effects are quite unsettling. They're from hanging around an enrichment chamber that isn't built well enough to protect you from the effects of a MRUCU.

Build a soul pentacle, at least the tier two (You can do so without going to Hoanna, as I haven't been yet and have one), and you should be able to remove most of the negative effects from yourself. I still haven't made it to Hoanna but i'm sure things get even worse there. Even with that, I'm still stuck with randomly catching on fire / random damage ticks. Luckily I'm not exploding as you've mentioned, but at soon as I noticed negative effects getting caused by the MRUCU I've limited my exposure to it.

Thank you- I probably should have mentioned that I have built the level 2 soul pentacle. I have limited exposure (all of my ec stuff is in a sky castle) but ill go and expand all of my enrichment chambers and use better materials. I hope that helps with the blowing up lol

Check your UMBMRU balance. I suspect you're too far negative.
