essentia through walls

so as the title implies i want to know if essentia from a warded jar will go through walls and a floor. i have a base set up for thaumcraft stuff but didnt think about where i would put the jars without them looking out of place and ugly. so it could be fixed easily if i can just hide them in the floor/walls of the place. i would use tallow golems to keep them stalked so i dont have to go down there. but again thats only if it is able to recognize it through blocks. if it doesnt work than any suggestions are welcome. thanks.

As far as I am aware, the table requires line of sight to the jars to operate(The essentia fly through the air and land on the table). I'm not sure if it is possible to place the jars behind a wall and have them still transfer essentia to the table.
