Bug Error-Message Apears when trying to start the App

  • Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

So i could install it but when i start the App it says:
The JVM could not be started. The maximum heap size (-Xmx) might be too large or an antivirus or firewall tool could block the execution.
Please help :(

Hi there!

Just help to double check that:
1. Your Firewall settings are not blocking any Minecraft/Java Executables from running
2. Your Java version is up to date

Thanks,

Thanks

Hi,

At this point, because i'm not really a expert at these, i would not know how to recommend steps that would be approved by FTB.

However, you can try downloading Java Version 8 Update 221 64bit (build 1.8.0_221-b11)
Then remove the newer version of java and see if it helps

Reason why i ask you to try download the above build is because i am running it and it does not encounter any issue.

IF you prefer not to do it, then just wait for a update released for the launcher at FTB website to see if it will address this issue

Thanks
