Today I found that aqua fire is a bastard to contain and control once it gets going. Just one block of it left after the perditio does its' thing and it starts spreading again.

Now all we need is 'snow ores' for better fire spread.

Fill in some of the snowless parts and then build Hell's Winter Wonderland. Could drop some some blood magic demons in there to act as tourist

Edit: Upon further thought, villagers could also be dropped in as sacrifices
