Ender/Nether shards for Thaumic Tinker

One of the big challenges is to get ender/nether shards for the best armor and weapon but on 12 hours I was harvesting about 30 of each without being online.

The way I did was that I made an Autonomous Activator with a Cleaver. Cused Earth is used to spawn the mobs (is working fine in End and Nether) and I was using a Corporeal Attractor to drag the mobs to the Activator. A Vacuum Hopper get the drop and Liquid XP sent to my base using a Tesseract.

A good idea in nether is to use Warding wand because there are also comming these nasty creepers.

Do they drop more shards when killed with a cleaver? Does it depend on Beheading?

I dont know. I had just made the cleaver for my wither skeleton killing machine and I love that weapon.

At least it's easier to make a passable unbreaking cleaver than one of the other swords =)

Or use unstable ingot for swords.

I changed my spawner in nether with a MFR mob spawner og its feeded with essence from the cursed earth. Right now I have 3 stacks of each shard

So if I understand what you are saying, I can set up MFR mob farms in the nether/end to get the appropriate shard?

And I think the word is fed, not feeded?

Spawner yes, grinder no. You need something that drops rare stuff, aka a fake player wielding a weapon or XU spikes.

Ahh, so the rare things wouldn't drop if grinders were used ? Never knew that. Cause grinders work on wither skellies, so I figured these would too as long as they were there.

Thought that too, turned out it doesn't work for the shards.

And done in End you also get a huge load of enderpearls and in nether a lot of gold nuggets...

Tbh, I'd prolly trash can the pearls as I already have an insane amount of them

There is honestly a generator that you could throw those in instead. XU ender generator. c'mon man.

I know that, but the generator is only 80 RF/tick, and I got a 20k RF/tick big reactor going atm. With plans for a Tokamak here soon.

Iirc it's 240 for eyes of ender. Perfect for testing a new build or for portable energy. I'm a hoarder though, never throw anything away.

To each his own. I used to be like that, but without a need for them end game (less I was hoarding liquid ender for tesseracts) would there really be a need?
