Does the Fortune enchant on sickles/scythes work?

"Work" as in drops more saplings. I would have asked this in support, but it's just a simple yes or no question, so I thought I'd just post it on General Discussion.
 
Should've posted it in general ftb really but yes, it should. It may not work on all trees but vanilla ones and vanilla based coded trees it should work on. It also works on tall grass for seeds. Mind you it will not be the ~2.7 you get from fortune 3 picks on ores but it should be higher.
