Like the topic says, i was just wondering if for example pneumatic tubes and all that stuff need a world anchor? i am running a few things a good distance underground to the next area. (Will probably change to a ender chest since that would make some stuff easier.

Also i was wondering how many chunks i can keep loading at the same time, just an estimate, befor i start lagging or server crashing.

If a chunk (16x16 area) in the world is not loaded (because there are no players around or there are no chunkloaders) NOTHING AT ALL happens in that chunk. Also: pipes that go across the boundary of a loaded to an unloaded chunk act if the pipe in the unloaded chunk isn't there. Fluid pipes will stop carrying fluids and item pipes will DROP their items.
