Problem Disable NEI For Players [Direwolf20]

I'm making a server and I just found out that anyone can use NEI to add items to their inventory and change the time of day. Is there anyway that I can block them from doing that? I would like them to be able to use it to get recipes still.

Don't op them. NEI only allows people with the right permissions to cheat with it.

Unless I'm doing something wrong than that's not working. I de-opped myself and I was still able to use it to cheat.

Strange. Have you tried removing yours(and/or theirs) names from the ops.txt file and restarting the server? If that doesn't work you can try specifically denying them access to the time change and give commands using a permissions plugin. I'd say remove NEI from the server, but that wouldn't solve the problem.

I got it solved. It turns out that they weren't getting de-opped since I was using their nicknames instead of the player name.
