Details of the issue:
So, I have 4GB allocated to FTB it's definitely nothing to do with that. I HAD the latest version of Java installed but someone said it might fix if I installed Java 7 so I did. Apart from that nothing really needs to be explained apart from the fact that it freezes in the same place every time.​
