Direwolf20 1.7.10 with plugins?

Hi guys, first time posting here, but just here with a simple question.

Is it no longer possible to use Cauldron along side the Direwolf20 1.7.10 pack to have plugins on your server? I've read up quite a few tutorials recently and so far they were either wrong or stupidly out of date. Is it just me having this issue? Or has Cauldron been depreciated or something similar?

You should be able to use plugins with KCauldron, you can find it here: http://tcpr.ca/kcauldron
Unzip and move the contents to your server and run the KCauldron server jar.

Does the version of cauldron have to be the same as the version of Forge that the DW20 pack is running, or does it not matter? I've already tried this website and have had negative results, but I could have possibly used the wrong version.

I have used Cauldron version that was for newer version of Forge without any problems. Using a version of Cauldron that uses older forge than the pack uses will most likely cause problems

Is it possible to rename KCauldron with no bad side effects? Guessing it doesn't matter, but I'd just like to be sure.

As far as I know, renaming it shouldn't cause any issues.
