Hello everyone!

Firstly I apologize if this question has been ever asked before here.

A couple of days ago I started playing FTB Direwolf's pack with my friend. Actually I didn't really knew about packs so it wasn't a real difference for me what would i start with. But while playing through the game and researching recipes and mechanics I was brought to the conclusion that i would rather better started with Ultimate Pack due to GregTech and other stuff. But it would have been frustating for me if I completely started over so I just copied "world" folder from Direwolf server to Ultimate. It was all fine until I figured out that none of pregenerated resources (ore and stuff) i will be able to find.

So my questions are -
1) Will I have access to all of the recipes without non-generated resources but only with those I have in my world
2) Will they spawn in other dimensions like Twilight Forest I have never been to (I suggest that dimension generates once i go there for the first time)

Thanks to you in advance!

You can just mine in a chunk that you haven't visited before, minecraft world is practically infinite and it generates as you explore new land. Ender bags and miner's/diggers backpack are your help, alternatively you can just setup quarry there.

Indeed - ANY new chunk generated will spawn the new ores - if you haven't spawned the Twilight Forest already, then it should spawn the ores ;)

I don't know if it's because of migration but i went outside the base to find a desert I wasn't been able to find any biome but icy one. I've been travelling for 15 minutes straight and it's all covered in snow. What should i do?

EDIT: Still snow everywhere. Interesting fact that if i teleport myself via server console world generation seems to be normal around tp location

EDIT2: Problem solved. Just weird generating.
