I really wanted to be able to live inside one of the thaumcraft Eldritch Obelisks, so I did a few tests to see if it was possible to move them successfully, sadly here are my results. (note the word sadly) (EDIT. this is meant to mean I wanted the obelisk inside my base, with the portal opened up, so I didn't have to teleport to an obelisk somewhere random, I wanted it as part of a nice base addition)

1. First I tried using the blood magic teleposers to move the obelisk from one location to another, and sadly once you attempt to move it, the obelisk self destructs, so this method didn't work :/

2. After I tried good ole AE2, hoping that the spacial pylons might be able to work, but yet again foiled by the mod. The pylons only move the blocks underneath such as the obsidian, so no they cannot be moved :/

I'm sad to say it seems impossible to move these, I was hoping to put an open portal one of these in my house, and use the large boss room as a really nice decore room or maze of sorts to keep some of my stuff safe, sadly it seems azanor has made these things harder to acquire than kryptonite....

If anyone was looking into doing such a thing as I was, I suggest you make a nice looking room around an altar far away, try to hide it with a mound matching the terrain, and use some sort of teleporting system that would make it look like you were still in your base, and this is mearly another room. A bit disappointing, but none the less, these obelisks make some really cool additions and hard to reach spots!

(also I was planning on testing funky locomotion frames, but the area I need it in is inside of a void world so therefore, even if it did move, I still couldn't get it to where I wanted it to go.)
