Did BC Lasers get hit with the nerfbat?

It could be that the MJ needed to make the processor is changed (possibly in config).
You can have a lot of lasers, I've used 100+ in one world. You might want to use a gate (on assembly table) to cut the power unless there is work to be done, the idle draw is quite high otherwise.

My lasers seem to work as fast as they did in previous versions, but I seriously couldn't be arsed to use the assembly table with only half a dozen lasers on it. It'd be quicker to train a wombat to make the things for you.
My table currently has about 50 lasers on it, a dozen or so of them laserplusses with efficiency V
It's the best way round the production bottleneck when autocrafting lol

I found out when trying to make a QuarryPlus that not having enough lasers makes for very boring gameplay.
Had 25, progress was slow. Made that up to a half century, bar started moving. I might eventually need an entire chamber: floor, walls and ceiling entirely made of enchanted LaserPluses. The power requirements will be hilarious but my BigReactor and big stack of resonant energy cells will beat you like a ginger stepson.

I only recently upgraded my assembly table set up from 3 lasers to 6. I never paid much attention to the time it takes to craft gates through the hooked up AE network but only because I'm doing something even slower and more tedious while I'm waiting for them to cook. Beekeeping.
