Diamonds to Titanium?

Hello, everyone I recently noticed that Diamond plating can be deconstructed into Titanium. It takes 5 diamonds and a Solenoid to make one diamond plate. But, if you put that plate into your crafting table, it will give you 5 titanium, which means that if you have enough diamonds, you never will need an industrial blast furnace for Titanium.
I'd post a picture, but you guys can look into TMI for the recipe.

It's listed as recipe in NEI, but you will actually get the diamonds back when you try to do so.
 
No, sadly, you can make the Diamond plating with Diamonds or Titanium which, when put back in the crafting to deconstruct it gives what back what ever base item you used to make. So, if you use Diamond it only gives back diamonds. I know this because I tried it my self xD

It's a issue in Ultimate with having both vanilla recipes and GT recipes for MPS. Turn off vanilla recipes and you can no longer do this.
...As for why you would want to do that, I honestly don't know, but still, Ultimate is kind of buggy last I checked.

Modular powersuits is badly misconfigured in FTB Ultimate, in like 5 different ways.

I know how you feel. I flipped out when one of my friends I played on a server said he saw the same thing. Then, well you know what happen.

I was getting ready to make me some titanium really soon... I made a minium stone and got some gold for the diamonds.. and i made, like, 10 solenoids... :/
 
But what happens if you make 4 diamond ones and 1 titanium one and stack them?

Oh, Dave, how do you suggest to configure them? I don't like GT recipes, because they are not GT recipes, they are "8 Nether Stars around a Dragon Egg" recipes, bu vanilla seems too cheap. I think UE recipes are pretty good, but there are no UE in Ultimate.

All they have to do is delete the parts that have to do with constants and configurations and re-run a server or client; the config will be regenerated correctly. They should enable IC2 and TE recipes. MMPowersuits is smart enough to do everything but be psychic.
 
Does titanium not take less uu than diamonds tho? That means that is a cheaper way to get diamonds from uu
