Okay, so in prep for Redpower and Thaumcraft, I've been getting to work on the center of my base, but I've hit a snag that I didn't consider in my planning. I'll attach some pics so I don't have to describe too much:
So, the issue I'm having is that I don't know how to get from the top to the bottom layer, quickly and easily whilst still having it look good. (I'm going to be touching up the walls with Thaumcraft eventually, so I know the walls look terrible) I was going to do a spiral staircase, but the way I have it set up doesn't allow for the rings to meet up.
I should mention that it's the marked out area in the bottom right section of the inner circle on the top pic that will be the area for getting up and down in, but I'll replicate it on the lower levels, and in each section rather than just the one, if that makes any sense.
The bottom level is at y20, and the top at y50. I'd hate to just have a water drop to get down, and frames won't look aesthetically pleasing once they're added. Any ideas?
