applications for our whitelisted server.

Bored in Minecraft? Try to survive on our server where food is scarce
and nightly hordes of monsters will try to overwhelm you. Early
progression is very difficult. Can you survive long enough to thrive?

of room!

the Dynmap

- Whitelist criteria

- Prior experience with hard packs a plus
- Former server experience
- We stress polite behavior and low drama, and look at comment
histories for evidence

- Chunk loaders

realtime overlay
- Configure Rei's Minimap ('m') to use Death Points and enable
Entity Radar for Players

- Strategy guide

- New recipes
- Our chef made cool new recipes for Harvestcraft
- You can now craft slime balls from leather or rotten flesh,
bones and water once you hit the iron age
- Horse armor and saddles are craftable

- Strategy
- Zombies and creepers grief now. Zombies can jump 5 high for
torches, but can only reach two blocks to slowly break
things. Creepers just blow if they think they can reach it.
- Attacking animals will attract aggro from the herd
- Many new monsters, including rumors of flying mobs
- Consider drowning moats, punji sticks may cause explosions
- No compressed cobble, obsidian is blast resistant but not
available early game
- All mobs climb, and they break doors, fence gates, farmland, and more

- Food
- Food is hard to come by. Conserve energy by walking and forage
- Food scarce in an area, try bonemeal on grass
- Eating the same food repeatedly reduces it's effectiveness
significantly. Switch out foods often (eat 3 of anything, then switch)
- Double your food variety using a Juicer on berries
- Drying racks make zombie flesh into edible jerky
- To get seeds, hoe grass blocks
- Plan on needing 2 crop fields (9x9) per person because bonemeal
doesn't work on crops
- Finite water means you'll want Railcraft Water Tanks
- Pay attention to biome preferences on the seed tooltips,
temperate (Normal temp, Normal humidity) biomes will be preferred

- Tools
- No vanilla tools except hoes. You must use Tinker's Construct tools in
order starting with wood, then flint and bone.
- Bone knife & Wood shovel are a good starting set
- Tinkers items level up and are upgradable, plus you can craft or
repair them in any crafting grid now
- You need gravel and clay. Gravel is under dirt where dirt and
stone meet. Clay is in the swamps, use a boat
