Creeper explosion off

As much as i love creepers blowing up my shit on my server which i truly love is there a mod/plugin to turn creeper explosion off. please and thanks

PS is there item to attract creepers away?

You don't need a mod. If you're on a server, just type /gamerule mobGriefing false

It works in SSP too, but to activate it you might have to open your game to LAN for a second and make sure cheats are enabled.

You can also open your level.dat in a program like nbt explorer and set the rule permanently.

Be careful though, it will also prevent block damages from ghasts and the wither.

If you just want to keep creepers away from you, get a cat. Creepers and cats don't mix.

That was the interdiction torch from EE2. I don't think there's an equivalent item in FTB.

Oops I saw the aluminum torch since it is greenish blue on sphax I thought it was the same torch lol

MFFS can be set to autokill any monsters within its radius.

There are a number of "deterrent" options from the different mods. While they may not prevent a creeper from exploding - they can work to keep the explosions away from your gear:

* (The options mentioned above)
* PortalMod - The Portal Sentry Turret
* Steve's Carts - Fitting a cart with a shooter or advanced shooter.
* Thaumcraft - Golems and Warded Stone / Glass (immune to explosion)

* RedPower2 Marble and Basalt bricks are also creeper-immune (currently anyways).
