Hey guys,

I started off on my world by first creating 2 turtles. With these turtles I used a program to plant and chop down Redwood Trees. I cooked em all up and now have 3 barrels full of Charcoal.

As you may know, these trees create ALOT of sapling. Every now and then i would run around and pickup the saplings, this has left me with 2 barrels of them so I have decided to turn them into Biomass.

I made a fertilizer and copied the recipe using the saplings from NEI but it won't create it, it says No Recipe.
I have 3 electrical engines hooked up to it, but they were filling up the pipe as the Fermenter wasn't taking in energy so I shut it off

What have I done wrong?

The water is being piped in from an Aqueous Accumulator

You've done nothing wrong, biomass can only be generated from vanilla tree saplings and rubber tree. It hasn't been updated for ExtraBiomes trees. Maybe next release, which has tree breeding.

Oh? If I press U to find recipes that use Redwood Saplings it comes up with this fermenter recipe, but I also tried to substitute the redwood saplings with Oak ones, maybe I messed up then i'll give it a try now

EDIT: Yes, Oak Saplings do work, thanks for your help

I guess i'll just pipe my Redwood Saplings into some generators then

Well, you can craft plantballs with 8 fir saplings. This is a bad idea with normal saplings but since you can't use them for biomass, it's a way to do something with them.
