I do not have a .bat file and i was wondering if there was any specific location where you have to extract the zip file. And also, how do people join the server?

Well this is now a few days old and I see you haven't received an answer, just you posting this tells me you never hosted..... Or ran a server..

I suggest GOOGLE - Google can and will be your best friend when starting up a server for the first time (unless it is a paid host that will install for you) but again Google will still be your best friend... Also learning by trial and error... everyibr will run thier servers different, not everyone runs them exactly the same but ask for help from other Admins to maybe help teach you.
