Crash when joining server

Hi

I'm hoping someone can help me. I'm trying to join a friends server but I keep crashing.

FTB Launcher version: v0.3.1
Minecraft Version: 1.4.2
Java version: 7.0.90
Detailed description of the issue / how can the issue be recreated: When logging on Minecraft crashes, I have joined previously and last time I logged on I was in a mystcraft age.

That mystcraft age could have been destroyed in some way. Ask your friend to clear your player file.
Also, make sure you have the same mods on your client as your friend is using for their server.
 
I think you're right, in the end we just restarted in a new world and that fixed it.
Luckily we didn't really loose anything.
