Hello! I just got a new laptop, so I'm installing Feed The Beast on it. However, it does not like me :( It does however, Like me on my husbands computer.

FTB Launcher is 1.2.2
MC Version is 1.4.7
Java is 6
Windows 8 (Bleh)

I have been trying to fix this for two hours. I've looked at the other crash to black screen posts and have tried the things they've said to do. I've deleted, re downloaded the mod pack (mindcrack) as well as the launcher. I've installed into a fresh folder. I've updated to java 7 then downgraded to java 6. I've allocated more ram then less ram. But when I try to launch from the launcher it goes to black screen. It may also be helpful to know I tried to do this in MultiMC and it did the same thing. Here is the INfo :)

Thanks guys!

This is a long shot, but the only part of the log that looks odd to me is the location of the launchers exe file.
It's currently located in C:\Users\megan_000\Downloads\FTB_Launcher.exe unlike the rest of the files located in C:\FTB.
The launcher is known to sometimes missbehave for whatever reason if it's not installed in a clean folder.
So the following might help.

1. Delete all content in the C:\FTB folder
2. Delete the folder C:\Users\megan_000\AppData\Roaming\ftblauncher
3. Delete FTB_Launcher.exe in your downloads folder and download the newest version from the FTB site
4. Update to the latest java (The downgrade to java 6 trick is for macs only as far as i know, for windows the latest version is reccomended)
5. Move the file you downloaded to the now clean C:\FTB folder and launch it.

Dissabling the voxel mods to see if that helps could also be worth a shot. Hope it helps

Also, since you're using Windows, you should be using Java 7 :)
If Meldiron's suggestions don't work, please give us a new log :)
