Crash after chromaticraft pylons apply effect on player

  • Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

Launcher Type

Modpack Modified direwolf20 1.7.10

Modpack version

Have you modified the pack? Yes

Details of the issue Brown CC pylons and cave crystals crash with that error when they apply their potion effects on the player.

https://github.com/ReikaKalseki/Reika_Mods_Issues/issues/1569#event-1223233658

According to Reika, it has to do with another mod, not CC.

I can't figure out which mod it is, so I'd appreciate any help.

Not sure how to help you figure out which mod/potion effect it is. But, that type of data is stored in your player.dat. Make a backup of that file and use something like NBTExplorer to edit the file and remove the potion effect.

I'll try that, but I'm looking for a more permanent solution. I constantly have to deal with CC pylons and I can't go mining because of this. Could I maybe figure out which mod it is from the player.dat file? Or maybe some way to prevent potion effects on my character altogether?

Also, is there any way to list all potion effects maybe? The potion id that's creating the issue seems to be 105,I think. Blood magic had a potion with that id but changing that didn't help at all.

Great, maybe I can track the mod down with that! And hopefully the author can fix this. Thanks a lot for helping. I'll try this once I'm home.
