A user on our FTB Ultimate server placed an apiarist's bag inside a barrel and thus crashed his client and myself who went into the chunk radius. We can currently not login without crashing. Is there a solution to fixing this? I've heard that using the formula (X/16)/32 and (Z/16)/32 to find the MCA file associated with the chunk and then deleting the file would resolve this, but is there another way or perhaps an easy fix to this?
Thanks for your time,

I'm having a problem somewhat similar to this. I have an egg farm that uses transposers to take the eggs to a deployer, which shoots them. However, I died when I was near the transposers, so they took my items to the deployer, and the server crashed. When I looked at the logs, it said it crashed because the deployer was trying to deploy an enderpouch, so I changed the ID of the enderpouch and turned the server on. It worked, until I started grabbing my things. Then it crashed on my canvas bags. When I tried changing the ID of the bag, it just gave errors. Eventually, I tried using MCEdit, but it would change all of the mod blocks in the nearby chunks to random blocks. If anyone knows a way to delete a single block (the timer triggering the deployer), it would be greatly appreciated!

OK first off, DON'T EVER CHANGE THE ID'S unless there is a compatibility issue with other mods, if it works, just leave it alone. And as for MCEdit, go here and download this version: http://www.mcedit.net/changes/0.1.7build466.html <- this somewhat supports mods by telling you the entity ID. All you have to do is delete the block causing the problem, not the timer, deleting the timer doesn't do anything, if you don't understand this, pm me, or somehow give me a link to the level.dat so I can help you.
Best of Luck

Thank you so much! This version of MCEdit didn't screw up the blocks in the nearby chunks. To LastMan, I think deleting the barrel using this version of MCEdit will fix the crashes. Thanks again!
