Copy "structures" from a save to another one

Hello,
I would like to know if it is possibile to copy "parts" of my world from a save folder to another one. It's the same world, but one of them is an old backup.

Long story short: I have the bad habit to backup my save folder after I'm done building and this time - I don't know why - when I got back home half of it was exploded. I don't know if my infinite water and/or the ender tank broke or what... Anyway, I made a lot of progress around my house, spending a lot of time and I was hoping to find a way to import the old house in the new save.
I know I could build it again, but it was quite big and most of the machines were very expensive.

I have the Single Player Command with WorldEdit if helps.

You're gonna need the latest MCEdit version to do this.

1. Download MCEdit here: http://www.mcedit.net/2013/05/15/mcedit-0.1.7-released.html
2. Copy your structures from your old save or whatever you want to copy
3. Load up your new world and paste in the structures

If you want to save a part of a world, you can save it as a schematic after copying.
