Client only mod and servers

Hi guys, i have been trying to set up my own private server for days, but i can't really figure out how to run it properly. I managed to start it up, installed the infinity pack on both client and server, but it keeps rejecting me, saying that there are missing mods, although in the brackets, when the error pops out there s nothing inside. So i was wondering if the client only mod that are installed in the server folder, can may be a problem.

You should download the server version of the pack. I use the old legacy FTB launcher to do that since they haven't added that feature to curse yet. But yes it sounds like you do have client side only mods on the server. Also, make sure the server version matches the client version of the pack. I think Infinity Evolved is on 2.6.0 right now. But whatever the pack version is make sure it is the same for both the client and server.
