Crash Report: http://pastebin.com/Fy08YqYi

I'll be playing for around roughly 10 minutes with everything working fine then my client will just randomly crash. As a result, this has been corrupting my world and I keep having to do the fix where you create a new world and switch the level.dat and all that fun stuff. What's the problem?

JVM Flags: 4 total; -Xms256M -Xmx3072M -XX:permSize=256m -XX:MaxPermSize=128M
The bolded part may or may not be the cause of this problem. the FTB launcher puts forth the PermSize variable, but then you'er picking up a MaxPermSize flag from somewhere.

If you've added this manually in the Advanced Options of the launcher, remove it.
If it's a global flag, you will need to remove it. I only know how to do it on Windows, but you will need to find where global variables are assigned in Mac OS X, find the one for Java, and remove it.

Hopefully this will resolve your crashing. If not, would you please post another crash log?

Yeah I added that in the Advanced Options of the launcher because FTB wasn't working for me at one point and I had read somewhere that was the solution. I'll take it off now and see if the problem persists.

Unfortunately this crash has been happening to quite a few people, myself included, the mod pack people are working on the problem but as far as i know no fix for yet.

What were you doing at the time of the crash?

So I took away MaxPermSize parameters I had set in the Advanced Options menu of the launcher and the problem is still occurring. There is nothing in particular that causes the crash. It will just occur at random times, whether I'm clicking on a block or riding up the Open Blocks elevators.

Here is another crash report: http://pastebin.com/T9RQFgHs
