Client crashes on joining of the server

When I join my friend's server, my client joins the server, and then it leaves, leaving me with a dirt screen. Shortly after the dirt screen, I get the blue and white crash screen. More info: I have been having a hard time installing the mindcrack pack, been trying all day to download it :/.

1. Update your Java, you're a few updates behind
2. Looks like your configs don't match. Ash you friend to copy over the config folder so that you can join
