Chunks randomly disappearing every time I start my game

Hey all. Chunks on my game keep disappearing every time I start. First it was my AE system and neighboring chunk, now it's a building with almost nothing in it but a portal gun portal. What is going on? This is super frustrating.

I keep having to use MCEdit to edit the chunks back in.
