Can't successfully download the modpacks.

Details of the issue:
Issue with new md5 method, attempting to use backup method.

It happens with every download. The FTB program then just freezes. I can't use any of the buttons like "Upload Log" or "Copy to Clipboard".

I have wiped all Java from my computer, installed version 64 (offline) and version 32.

I have deleted all FTB files, wiped it from appdata and reinstalled.

Am I missing something here?​
 
Do you got any antivirus or firewall on that machine (not counting the built in)?

Thanks for replying. No. I use Windows 10, so just use the security that is in-built.
 
I've been trying to toggle my windows firewall settings to see if it will work. But no luck yet.
 
I deleted FTB and reinstalled. Logged in and began to download 'Regrowth'. It starts to download, gets about 5 bits away from completion and hangs. Then the log says the below:

When I click on any of the buttons, nothing responds. I can't get the log because FTB freezes
 
At least 10 minutes. Here is what it displays:

please, post a full log: In the launcher's options tab, check the boxes "Show Console" and "Reopen launcher when Minecraft exits". Then launch your pack again and when the crash/error/other problem occurs, click the "upload log" button in console window and give us the link.
