Details of the issue Hello everyone. I have tried everything that I can find to get this to work but it still isn't
I am trying to connect to a friends server. everyone else has done it without any issues but I seem to be unable to. I was told that I only needed to allow the port forwarding if I was hosting.
We are using Skyfactory 3
things I've tried:
added ports to firewall
made sure firewall was not blocking
had friend make sure his firewall wasn't blocking.
made sure I had the proper IP address.
made sure everything was up to date:
java
minecraft
skyfactory mod pack

I would really appreciate some help.

Make sure you're using the same version of the pack as the server is running on.
