Cannot login in to Microsoft Account

I have since a week the problem that I can no longer log in to FTB with my Minecraft Microsoft account. I've already tried felt everything has nothing worked.

It seems like it gets stuck on Waiting for response, after signing in on the web page that opens up, when i try to sign in with my Microsoft account, and no mater how long i wait it does not login me in on the app, and when i click away from the pop up in the app, it gives me a login error, and tells me to try again.
Edit: i manged to get it working after turning my VPN on for whatever reason
